STRIPES: Bridget Riley distorts our view for this week’s inspiration!

Infamous artist Bridget Riley is synonymous with the Op-art movement. Collected and displayed at institutions worldwide, she first developed her style in the 1960’s, exploring optical phenomena using a variety of colours, forms and shapes. The pieces, which seek to disorientate the eye, remind us of the PURO identity, playing with the simple striped shapes and monochrome colours for strong and intriguing visuals.
